Hi Lewisobispo

and welcome to Myspain, I'm not to hot on this subject but going by our bills I would think gas is cheaper to run the leccy. We replaced our boiler last year and although we only run hot water off it at the moment we went for a middle of the range Junker. It has an automatic pilotlight which also means we are not burning gas whilst not in use, suits our needs, not sure where you are living but here in Cadiz the leccy is going up all the time. We have bottled gas that is costing us 11.50 per bottle, did go up to 16E at one time but the bigboys step in and said it had to come back down. Expect one of the chaps will be along soon with better info. Good luck.
