Any ideas on what's good, new and funky
(can you see what I'm doing here Darren?)
As you are well aware I am going to buying a new one as my ARSE of a brother has dropped mine and not let me know about it!
I've narrowed it down to two:
[ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-PowerShot-SX200-Digital-Camera/dp/B001T9NGYS/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1249653610&s r=1-10]Canon PowerShot SX200 Digital Camera - Black 3.0" LCD: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]
2 Main drawbacks are the pop up flash as it could easily be broken and the lack of optical zoom on hd video mode.
[ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Lumix-TZ7-Digital-Camera/dp/B001T0H0RG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1249653683&sr =1-1]Panasonic Lumix TZ7 Digital Camera - Black 3.0 inch: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]
Downside is that it picture quality can be a bit noisey in low light..
I think I'll go witht he Tz7 anyway as the Video quality is amazing!

I think if you click on the video it will take you to youtube and then click HQ and it will go to widescreen and stuff..
It's mighty impressive for a small camera!
Good job I waited.. Amazon just reduced it by £20 so I've ordered the Tz7 and it'll be here tomorrow!![]()
tech talk Sammy noise is speckels of a colour making an image look grainy like this ...

Well I've had the TZ7 for a few weeks but not had the chance to really use it yet but I am mighty impressed with what I've seen thus far.
I'm currently using the almost every in auto mode and was quite impressed with some photos I took yesterday. You can't really tell from the exterior car shots as the images have shrunk but the interior photos are very very very crisp indeed and that's where my old Canon fell short!
So far so good I'm very happy with it!
