I sort of like option 1 because it is clear and easy to see where things are but can see what you mean about being bulky and it could begin to over take the board as more areas are added.

Option 2 would be OK if the titles could be in bold.

As far as option 3 goes I don't think at this point you need to know how many threads and who made the last post, it could show up once you have selected your area, I am assuming that is what will happen in option 2.

So base on that with the view of saving Space OPTION 2. in strict alpha order

I must admit I didn`t even look, I only went to the general chat and saw that mods post.
But that is the most Brit populated area of Spain and the name must be top of the pops in Google so if it didn`t get busy I would be worried.
The main worry I would have is that if you had lots of areas then you would get all the same posts on your site as on there and the same people would join here to answer them, other areas like Benalmadena would probable get a few posts a year.
Look at CE on here and BE, same posts and same members, I can`t really see it attracting more newbies to stay on the site but I may be wrong.
It`s a difficut call Daren, if it`s in your heart then suck it and see, you can always revert back. ;-))
