    Default The Best Choc Brownie Recipe!!

    * Preheat the oven to 160 C. Butter and line the bottom of a 9" x 13 " pan
    * Break chocolate into chunks. Cut up the butter and place both into a metal bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir gently until melted.
    * When both melted, turn off the heat, but keep the bowl over the saucepan to keep mixture warm and easy to work with.
    * Add sugar to the mixture and stir in.
    * Lightly beat the eggs and vanilla extract together. Add these to the chocolate mixutre and fold in eggs until completely blended into the mix. (It may seem that they never will blend completely - but keep at it cos they do!)
    * Add (sifted) flour to the batter and stir until all flour has been integrated. If desired, you can at this point add up to 1 cup of chopped nuts.
    * Pour batter into baking pan - Place in the centre of an oven for approx 35 mins.
    * Important bit now : At end of baking time, insert a toothpick into the centre. If removed, it's covered in brownie "crumbs" and no batter, the cake is ready.
    * Leave to cool slightly, turn out and cut into squares (you decide how big!) and see if you can wait until it's completely cooled to eat.
