Ok guys, the vet says he´s about 3 to 4 months old. He´s not chipped and followed OH and our dogs home last Tuesday. Thanks goodness we took him in because the weather took a turn for the worst. Also, as we live quite close to a busy road, he could have been run over.
We think that he might have been a ´weekend´dog or they didn´t care because we put posters out and there hasn´t been a reply. We´ve also checked with our immediate Spanish neighbours because they know everything and they know nothing about him. In fact, they were saying how bad some people were.
He´s a bit bitey at the moment, because he´s so young and we feel this might have been another reason he was put out. Who knows? But he can be trained and I´m trying with diversions at the moment We are toilet training him at the moment, although we have had a few accidents, but we are trying to rectify that.
He is really good with cats because he barks at ours with no ill intent. And our cat has given him a slap on the nose which sorted him out.
If anyone out there can give him a GOOD home, so that he doesn´t have to live outside or be a weekend dog, then we would be really interested to hear from you, but it has to be driving distance from Chiclana. We are not prepared just to send him anywhere. In the meantime he is fed, warm and safe with us.
The picture doesn´t show him in his new, fetching collar.
Thanks to everyone for reading this.

p.s. thanks so much Sammy. xxxx

Still no takers at the moment.
Today I went to my dentist and the receptionist, who is dog crazy, told me to email her his photo and she would put it out there to all their clients and all her friends. Here´s hoping. In the meantime my legs are black and blue and I´ve got nips on my hands but, hey, that´s puppies.
Keep your fingers crossed please guys. xx

I´m trying. I´m a great believer in everything happens for a reason so, if he isn´t rehomed, I´ll have to kill him and cook him for Sunday lunch
