.......asking me if I could do a class for them!

It's still there & running - not exactly buzzing with business from what I've heard though

Today is supposed to be my first full-on day after the Christmas break. A few students came during the hols, but the schoolkids don't come, some of the English go to the UK for a week or so & the Spanish party for two whole weeks!

My first is a lady learning English at 8.30 for an hour before she goes to work.

My second is supposed to be a Spanish Lawyer who is learning English too - he comes for a 'crash course' every now & then - fits in loads of hours in a few ...

the 'full time' secretary just rang me - apologising that there is nothing for me - but she's now looking for another job cos she thinks the school will close soon

seems the boss is 5 months preggers & the sec thinks she will give up work - we didn't even know there was a guy around - and total lack of students means the place is going down the pan anyway

seems I made the right decision to expand on my own when I did

I suppose in a way it's good that ...

it's raining again

it's a bit early for winter to have come - seems to get here a few weeks earlier every year!

last year the gota fria was in October - when we have one it's usually in November

at this rate it will be in September!

if it moves to August maybe we'll get the place to ourselves for a change!

my doorbell rang this morning - wasn't expecting anyone & didn't recognise the people on the step (entrycam) so nearly didn't answer it - flat was upside down - in housework mode

dh stuck is head out the window - hello! can I help you?

they were looking for lessons for their 15 year old son - english maths & spanish GCSE - so that's my mornings pretty much full now
